Alice was born in 1989 in Alghero, Italy. She obtained her BSc in Chemistry at the University of Rome La Sapienza in 2013 working on the synthesis of new dihydroxytyrosyl esters of dicarboxilic acids; she got her MSc at the University of Bologna Alma Mater Studiorum in 2015 presenting a thesis on new procedures for the asymmetric aldolic condensation reaction catalysed by L-proline.
She joined the Bernardi group as PhD student since November 2015 and she started working on the synthesis of glycomimetic compounds as DC-SIGN ligands.
