Applicants must hold a master degree in Medicine, Chemistry or Life Sciences.
Admitted students receive funding for three years.
The School combines the experience in teaching and doctoral training of the Faculty members of the University of Milano with the expertise of a network of research groups which are actively involved in the activities of the School. Furthermore, the School in Molecular Medicine has active collaborations with several biotechnology companies.
The doctoral students work as active researchers in the participating research groups.
The students are also encouraged to do part of their thesis work in foreign laboratories, mainly in groups which are collaborating with the students' local host research groups.
