Postdoc opening:

The prospective post-doctoral research fellow will develop theoretical and numerical tools for the calculation of excitation spectra in condensed matter. Code developement, documentation, and mainteinance for the ETSF facility (www.etsf.eu) will be also part of the work.

The appointment will be for 24 months, starting Jan. 1, 2009.

The work will take place within the European Theoretical Spectroscopy Facility (ETSF), an initiative of the Nanoquanta network of excellence.

The net (after taxes) salary is the maximum allowd by law for an "Assegno di Ricerca", i.e. slightly more than 1500 Euro/month, on which one has no IRPEF to pay.
