PICTURES SKI TRIP



The 9th Alpine Glaciology meeting and Field trip on Forni Glacier (the largest Italian valley Glacier) will be held in Italy on the next February. The aim of the conference is to allow an exchange of opinions and ideas between the Glaciological Community in particular promoting the partecipation of young scientists. The meeting contributions could be both poster and /or oral ones.
The field trip will give the partecipants an excellent opportunity to visit during the winter season the largest Italian Valley Glacier and to discuss on the field and to exchange ideas on practical aspects of glacier meteorology and mass balances.
The meeting will be held in Milan, mainly at the University Central site, on the 24th and 25th of February 2005.
The University Central site is located in Via Festa del Perdono 7, in Milano downtown (how to reach the meeting site) .
(how to reach the Earth Sciences Department), in a different district respect to the University central site. Here will be held the second part of the meeting. This part of the meeting will start on the morning of the 25th February. We are looking forward to see you in Milan.
