HOW TO REACH US BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

ARRIVING IN MILAN BY TRAIN

From "Cadorna"rail station: TUBE RED LINE (named also LINE 1) direction "Sesto FS", stop at the station "MM 1 DUOMO"
From "P.Garibaldi" rail station: TUBE GREEN LINE (named also LINE 2) direction Cologno/Gessate/Gobba up to "Centrale FS", here You have to change TUBE LINE from Line 2 to Line 3 (named also yellow line) the direction is S. Donato, stop at the station "MM 3 MISSORI"
From "Centrale FS" rail station: TUBE YELLOW LINE (named also LINE 2) direction "S.Donato" stop at the station "MM 3 MISSORI"

ARRIVING IN MILAN BY AIRPLANE

We suggest you to take a plane to/from Milano Linate airport because of this one is closest (20-25' from Centrale rail station) to the downtown and the rail station than the other airports (Orio al Serio or Malpensa) which are about 1 hour by bus or by train far from Milan!

From Linate Airport to Milano downtown
" By using public transportation BUS 73 (it costs 1.5 Euros per run) and switching to the TUBE (red line or line 1, tube stop S. Babila close to Duomo in Milan Downtown). The direction is BISCEGLIE/MOLINO DORINO, the stop is "MM 1 DUOMO". If you have no an heavy luggage You can also reach the University Central Site on foot because it takes 15 minutes from S. Babila Tube station or Bus station.

From Malpensa Airport (terminal 1) to Milano Cadorna rail station (downtown)
Is possibile to take a train (more expensive solution 9 Euros single run), it takes 40' for arriving in Milan and it departs from Malpensa every 30' from 6:45 a.m. to 22:15 p.m every day and from Milano Cadorna every 30' from 5:50a.m. to 21:20 p.m. From "Cadorna"rail station: TUBE RED LINE (named also LINE 1) direction "Sesto FS", stop at the station "MM 1 DUOMO"

From Malpensa Airport (terminal 1) to Milano Centrale rail station
It is possible to use a bus (cheaper solution 4/5 Euros single run), it takes 50-55' for arriving in Milan and it departs
from Malpensa every 20' from 6:30 a.m. to 00:15 p.m.
From Milano centrale every 20' from 05:10 a.m. to 22:30 p.m.
From "Centrale FS" rail station: TUBE YELLOW LINE (named also LINE 2) direction "S.Donato" stop at the station "MM 3 MISSORI"

From Orio al Serio Airport to Milano Centrale rail station
It is possible to use a bus, it takes 50' for arriving in Milano Centrale railstation and it departs from Orio al Serio every 1h from 5:15 a.m. (on Sunday from 10:00 a.m.) to 23:50 p.m. and from Milan every 1h from 4:30 a.m. to 22:30 p.m. From "Centrale FS" rail station: TUBE YELLOW LINE (named also LINE 2) direction "S.Donato" stop at the station "MM 3 MISSORI"

Please note that a ticket (1.5 Euros) on the Tube allow you only for a run, it can be useful to buy a daily or tourist tickets which allow you to use all the public transportation for 1 day for as rus as you want. For more information about please let go to the following link

If You use the TUBE please note You have to walk for 15-20 minutes for reaching the meeting site (about 1 km far) otherwise You can take a BUS as:
BUS n°. 61 ( from Milano downtown, S. Babila, STOP STRAMBIO GORINI) or 93 (from Milano Loreto, STOPS PONZIO CELORIA or GORINI).
