In the archive are conserved a multitude of original drawings and preparatory sketches that are extremely useful to understand Alcorn’s method and his accurate approach to work.

Through these materials it’s possible to trace the evolution of a number of projects, but also discover the passion of an artist and perceive how pencil and paper were part of his everyday life. Images, in fact, include an iteration of Alcorn’s calling cards including his home office in Dobb’s Ferry, New York and his apartment in via dei Serragli in Florence. Moreover, one can also get a glimpse of holiday greeting cards and invitations to parties, designed from scratch for his close friends and family.
