Research
Our research is devoted to understand the interaction between human and
the environment to assess how this interaction influence health status.
To this aim we focus our efforts to develop biomarkers useful to
investigate exposure to pollutants, stress status, personal habits,
diet.
To achieve this
goal we:

Set analytical assays to investigate exposure to pollutants or their
effects in biological samples collected via non-invasive procedures;

Validate these parameters as biomarkers;

Applying biomarkers to molecular epidemiology studies.
