Understanding the fundamental control limitations and possibilities of quantum systems is, it goes without saying, key to the development of operational quantum technologies. In this talk, we will offer a broad overview of recent results and current open problems concerning the control of quantum continuous variables, in both open-loop and feedback scenarios.
