Philippe Bance is President of the International Scientific Council CIRIEC (2014-2016), President of the Scientific Commission “Public Economics” CIRIEC France, (2010 – ), Co-director of a special issue on The future of public enterprise of the Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics (forthcoming), Deputy director of the CREAM laboratory (Centre for Research in Globalisation Applied Economics) of the University of Rouen (2012 -), Member of the Scientific Council of the University of Rouen (2012- ), Director of the Universitary Presses Collection of Rouen and Le Havre (PURH) “Public Economics and Social Economics”, (2011 -). He has a longstanding experience with teaching and evaluation. His responsibilities in this field include: Scientific Delegate AERES and HCERES (2010 -), Vice-President of the University of Rouen for Education and Universitary Life (CEVU) (2007-2010). His research areas are: Services of General Interest, Public enterprises, European economy. He edited four books, published about forty papers in scientific journals or books.
