November 1999 to April 2001 – researcher at Italfarmaco S.p.A. (Milan).
2003 – Ph.D., University of Milan.
2008 – Visiting researcher, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Boston.
At present, he is an Assisting Professor at the University of Milan.
The field of research he works in concerns a) the design and production of conventional and modified release dosage forms (prolonged and delayed release, colon delivery), b) the characterization drug/cylcodextrin interaction compounds and the evaluation of cyclodextrins as adjuvants, c) the design and preparation of multi-particulate dosage forms, d) statistical optimization of formulations and pharmaceutical processes.
